Located at 183 Malcolm X Blvd, New York, NY 10026, Plant Corner operates as a plant nursery serving New York in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In New York, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in New York, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (917) 456-4616. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is plantcornernyc.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 161 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded plant nurseries in New York.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in New York peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Plant corner always comes through with my plant purchases. Also, their repotting services by Amber is a 10/10, she replanted, combined plants, re-purposed pieces for propagation and gave us some insight on caring for the plants going forward. I will be shopping qith them again and using their services. 10/10

I stopped by Plant Corner after work, empty pot in hand, hoping to find a replacement for a fiddle-leaf fig that didn’t survive my low-light apartment. The moment I walked in, it felt less like a shop and more like stepping into someone’s cozy plant-filled living room - warm, tranquil, and inviting. I was greeted by Sadé, who was absolutely wonderful. Even though it was her first day, she was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I know very little about plants and was pretty indecisive, but she walked me through all my options, explained what would thrive in my space, and shared super helpful care tips. Her enthusiasm for plants is so contagious, I left wanting to buy half the shop! With her help, I found the perfect plant, and I’m already in love with it. I’ll definitely be back for future plant purchases. Highly, highly recommend Plant Corner!

First time visiting The Plant Corner, it was well out of the way of where I stay in NYC when I'm visiting but definitely worth the visit if you're a plant person! They had a really good variety of plants and pots, If I could bring plants with me back into the UK then I definitely would have purchased a plant! But luckily I've got a loyalty card for when I come back and spend my money on pots and accessories πŸͺ΄πŸ€ also very helpful staff, thank you! See you again soon, Katelyne x

My favorite plant store in the city. Such a stunning space with a great selection. They take a good care of their plants that keep thriving long after purchase. Highly recommend for anyone, even if you know nothing about gardening! The staff is very nice and will answer any questions you have, in person and on their instagram.

So impressed! So nice to see a shop where the plants are so well cared for and not just somewhere to push out plants before they die or rot. Great selection of rare plants and honestly price is extremely fair, especially for a brick and mortar shop and the size of the plants. Rare syngoniums and more "common" houseplants are priced incredibly well. Shop owner is super nice and knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. She is also very ethical on sales and transparency and cares about her customers. Definitely worth the trip even just to awe at the collection in the back. Don't miss the baby plant section too for some great deals and the "take/leave a cutting" area!
